No page describing Bulgarian law or procedure is published without her review. Where a page is drafted with editorial or research support, that support covers structure, plain-language explanation and organisation — it does not decide what the law says, and does not substitute for her review of the substance.
Primary sources, not secondary commentary
Content on this site is built from primary legal sources — the relevant Bulgarian statutes and codes, official registers, and the applicable EU regulations — rather than from summaries on other websites or competitor pages. The full list of the categories of primary sources used across the site, and the links used to verify Adriana's own registration, are set out on the Sources & Methodology page. A page on a different law firm's website, however well it ranks, is never treated as authority for what a Bulgarian statute or deadline actually says.
Dated, and rechecked after material legal changes
Substantive legal pages are dated, so you can see when they were last reviewed. Bulgaria's laws and procedures change — a recent example is the country's entry into the eurozone on 1 January 2026, which affects any page that once referred to prices or fines in leva. When a legal change of this kind is identified, the affected page or pages are flagged, reviewed against the updated primary source, and republished with a new review date. A page is not left live with information known to be superseded.
Unresolved legal points are not published as settled
Some legal questions genuinely do not have a settled answer at a given point in time — for example, because a provision is newly changed, or because official guidance has not yet caught up with a change in the law. Where that is the case, this site says so, rather than presenting a guess as a firm answer. A legal point that has not been properly verified is not published at all until it can be checked against a primary source.
